Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to emergency medical situations and provide immediate care to patients.

Perform thorough assessments of patients' conditions and establish accurate diagnoses.

Administer appropriate treatments and medications following established protocols.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Document all medical interventions, observations, and treatment outcomes accurately.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff members to ensure clear understanding of treatment plans.

Adhere to all medical protocols, guidelines, and ethical standards in emergency medical practice.

Requirements:

Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.

Board certification in Emergency Medicine.

Valid state medical license and DEA registration.

Proven experience working in emergency departments or urgent care settings.

Strong clinical skills and ability to make quick, accurate decisions in high‑stress situations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team environment.

Commitment to providing compassionate and patient‑centered care.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6a-6p or 6p-6a

No call shifts required

Trauma Level III

Annual Volume: 48,000 patients

Daily Volume: 131 patients

Backup Specialties: Internal medicine, pediatrics, cardiology, GI, OB, neurology, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, surgery, cath lab

Support Staff: APPs

EMR: Cerner

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
