Job Overview The
General Manager
is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The role works with his/her leader to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve those goals. The GM leads a team of Department Managers, helping them set goals, track progress, and providing coaching and direction. The GM may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers.
Responsibilities
Run a profitable restaurant and maintain high standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
Set restaurant goals in partnership with corporate leaders and develop actionable plans.
Lead and coach a team of Department Managers to achieve departmental goals.
Hire, train, and develop Department and Shift Managers.
Qualifications
Previous General Manager experience running high-volume locations.
Background in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail preferred.
Minimum age 18 years or older.
