Job Description The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. Working closely with the franchisee’s leadership, the GM sets restaurant goals and creates a plan to achieve them.
Responsibilities • Lead a team of Department Managers, helping them set their own goals, monitor progress, and provide coaching and direction to improve their departments. • Oversee hiring and development of Department and Shift Managers to build a competent leadership team. • Collaborate with the franchisee’s leader to align restaurant goals with business objectives. • Maintain high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
Qualifications • Minimum of 18 years of age. • Previous General Manager experience in high‑volume locations (quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail preferred). • Strong leadership and team‑development skills. • Ability to set, track, and achieve business goals.
