Senior Accountant – Preclinical CRO

The Opportunity
Manage monthly general ledger close, including accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Oversee AR/AP processing, vendor and customer reconciliations, and bank account reconciliations.
Maintain and reconcile accounting records for prepaids, accruals, and deferred revenues.
Prepare monthly financial analyses and support annual budgeting.
Handle tax declarations, filings, and audit coordination (internal, external, and regulatory).
Implement new accounting standards and maintain compliance with parent company policies.
Support non-standard transactions and assist across functions to ensure timely month-end close.
The Ideal Candidate
Five years of experience in a small to medium-sized firm
Experience should include preparation for and dealings with external auditors.
Strong General Ledger knowledge with month-end closing experience, including preparation of financial statements.
QuickBooks experience preferred but not required.
