The Opportunity Our tax function is constantly evolving, offering growth opportunities through new skills and responsibilities, dedicated mentors, and training programs. You will contribute technical expertise in compliance, audit defense, and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property.

Your Key Responsibilities

Engage in client consultations, challenging the unclaimed property and escheat approach for optimal effectiveness.

Develop strong relationships with clients and collaborate with internal resources.

Coach junior team members and implement your knowledge of unclaimed property concepts and requirements.

Work in a highly collaborative culture, sharing and listening to colleagues' insights.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Stay informed of current technical developments and apply knowledge to client situations.

To Qualify for the Role

A bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related work experience.

CPA certification, Member of the US Bar or professional designation from IPT.

Technical expertise in compliance, audit defense, and consulting for abandoned and unclaimed property services.

Performance and process advisory experience related to unclaimed property compliance.

Broad exposure to state and local taxation.

Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills.

Willingness to travel as needed and work in a balanced hybrid environment.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

Minimum 5 years of relevant unclaimed property consulting experience within a professional services environment.
