Systems Integration Engineer , you’ll join a highly skilled team focused on designing and developing enterprise-wide tools and services that support a full suite of collaboration and productivity platforms. This role is hands‑on, impactful, and critical to mission success.
What You’ll Be Doing In this role, you’ll:
Design, develop, and maintain tools and services supporting platforms such as
Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, sysadmins, project managers, and mission stakeholders
Develop integrations and automation to streamline workflows and boost team productivity
Work with advanced technologies in
containerization, high-performance computing (HPC) , real‑time systems, and scalable infrastructures
Maintain system integrity, document procedures, and ensure smooth operation of mission‑critical environments
Required Skills
Proficiency with the
Linux Command Line Interface (CLI)
Development experience using
Java
in a Linux environment
Scripting with
Bash, Python, and Groovy
for task and workflow automation
Experience with the
Atlassian SDK
for extending tools like Jira and Confluence
Knowledge of
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
using tools like
Ansible, Salt, or Puppet
Strong documentation skills for capturing system configurations, changes, and procedures
Desired Skills
Experience maintaining mission applications in Linux environments
Experience training or working directly with external customers
Qualifications
8+ years
of professional experience in systems integration or related roles
Bachelor’s degree
in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
