Assistant Store Manager

Compensation Pay Range
$18.20 - $24.50 per hour. (Actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.) Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance premiums, etc.
The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and operations. The position will manage the store during the Store Manager’s absence or when working opposing shifts.
Essential Job Functions
Lead the store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and execute customer service programs (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, etc.).
Ensure retail sales counter is adequately staffed during peak business hours.
Assist in setting team member goals, providing feedback, coaching/mentoring, and ensuring training completion.
Assist in hiring process: recruiting tasks, interviews, evaluating candidates.
Ensure telephone answered per company policy.
Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders promptly.
Utilize electronic purchase order ledger for special orders and outside purchases.
Process retail customer returns and exchanges accurately.
Invoice merchandise, core charges and warranties before product leaves the store.
Communicate Zipline messages, Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned.
Ensure compliance with company policies on schedule, approvals, clocking in/out.
Perform store opening/closing duties, day end procedures, money deposits, bank deposits, security lighting, locking doors, security alarms, and vehicle security.
Assist in maintaining store building, parking lot, signage, hardware, equipment, delivery vehicles.
All other duties as assigned.
Skills / Education / Knowledge / Experience / Abilities Required :
Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, and RSS Certification.
Desired :
Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification.
Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
