Global Commodity Manager
KCC Companies is an employee‑owned (ESOP) company dedicated to providing complete design, manufacturing, installation, and service for commercial and residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC).
We are seeking a strategic and results‑driven Global Commodity Manager to lead sourcing and procurement initiatives for HVAC components and other key commodities. This role is critical to optimizing our global supply chain, driving cost savings, ensuring supplier performance, and supporting new product development.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic sourcing & procurement: develop and implement global sourcing strategies; identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; support new product introductions.
Supplier management & development: build and maintain strong supplier relationships; monitor performance and lead improvement initiatives; establish master supply agreements.
Cost & risk management: lead cost modeling, RFQs, and value engineering; mitigate supply chain risks; improve lead times, working capital, and payment terms.
Cross‑functional collaboration: partner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and R&D; coordinate with global teams.
Compliance & market intelligence: ensure adherence to regulatory standards; monitor market trends and raw material pricing; provide commodity inflation forecasts.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in commodity management, strategic sourcing or supply chain – preferably in HVAC, mechanical systems or industrial manufacturing.
Proven track record in global sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost reduction.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor, Oracle) and sourcing tools (e.g., Ariba).
Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, quality systems (ISO, QS) and sustainability practices.
APICS or CPM certification is a plus.

Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced global environment.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 50%).
Safety/Physical Requirements

Work on ladders or step stools.
Requires bending, stooping and standing.
Stand from 6 to 8 hours per day.
Good visual and spatial perception.
Follow established safety policies including mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first aid etc.
