About the Role: Senior Accountant The Senior Accountant will play a key role within the company’s
Consolidated Accounting Group - Controller's Office , reporting directly to the Accounting Manager. This role supports daily accounting operations, ensures accurate financial reporting, and helps maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting skills, manufacturing experience, and a continuous improvement mindset.
What You Will Do
Apply
manufacturing accounting concepts , including overtime accounting
Support
revenue-based accounting
processes
Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
Participate in monthly balance sheet reviews with business teams and the shared services center
Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with
U.S. GAAP
and internal accounting standards
Support internal and external audit requests; assist in remediation efforts
Document standard operating procedures for accounting processes
Share best practices within the Accounting CoE and help implement process improvements
Identify opportunities to streamline close and reporting processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance accounting operations
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
Minimum 3 years of progressive accounting experience
Public Accounting/Big 4 experience preferred
Strong knowledge of
U.S. GAAP
and financial reporting standards
Experience in manufacturing accounting highly preferred
Familiarity with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., JDE, SL9), as well as Excel and PowerPoint
Experience supporting or maintaining
SOX compliance
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
