How you excel in this position Stark Tech seeks a Senior Project Engineer who transforms complex electrical requirements into safe, reliable, and integrated building infrastructure solutions. You lead projects from conceptual design through commissioning, using deep technical expertise, system analysis and constructability insight to ensure code‑compliant, cost‑effective and optimized electrical systems. You bridge design and field execution, coordinating seamlessly with mechanical, controls and low‑voltage teams to deliver fully integrated building solutions that support smarter, more efficient operations. Through technical leadership, cross‑functional collaboration and mentoring engineering staff, you elevate project quality, reduce risk and strengthen Stark Tech's reputation for high‑performing electrical infrastructure.
What we are looking for
Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Advanced degree a plus.
10+ years of experience in electrical building infrastructure, power distribution or energy/efficiency‑driven electrical design.
Proven experience leading projects and managing engineering or cross‑functional teams.
Professional certifications are highly desirable.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
Expert knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE and local AHJ electrical requirements.
Strong understanding of service entrance design, switchgear, grounding, lighting, motor control and distribution systems.
Experience performing power system studies – short circuit, arc‑flash, coordination, voltage drop and load analysis.
Skilled in producing Basis of Design documents, one‑lines, riser diagrams, specifications and construction documentation.
Ability to coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, controls and IT teams for fully integrated solutions.
Experience supporting commissioning, functional testing, performance verification and owner turnover processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry software tools for modeling, analytics and design.
Leadership & Collaboration
Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and influence cross‑functional project teams.
Strong customer‑facing communication skills.
Ability to convert technical value into meaningful business outcomes for customers and internal stakeholders.
