Reports To General Manager
Overview The Diamond Baseball League (DBL) is a professional-grade collegiate summer baseball league which will begin play in 2026. The League has secured its inaugural six markets in Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska, which include first class facilities and multi-year stadium leases. The league owns and operates each of the six inaugural teams to ensure operational consistency and efficiency and the long-term financial security and growth of the League. The DBL management team has over 100 years of combined professional sports experience, including ownership and operation of collegiate summer, independent and minor league teams, and leadership positions in Major League Baseball. Teams will play a 50-game schedule (30 home games, 20 road games) from late May into the first week of August, 2026.
Job Responsibilities The DBL is seeking a Director of Ticket Sales for Jefferson City who will serve as the primary advance ticket sales representative for the team via the personal sales of ticket packages (season tickets, partial game plans, picnic outings and group tickets) to both B2B and B2C constituents. The successful candidate will also oversee the team’s ticket operations including box office management and ticket accounting. Opportunities for future growth as the League expands.
Qualifications
Only those who have sold tickets previously for a sports franchise will be considered.
Ability to identify and evaluate strategic opportunities and build business relationships.
Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
Experience with ticketing software.
Compensation & Benefits Full-time year-round salary position. Bonuses paid based on accomplishment of ticket sales objectives.
