Base pay range $80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Chesapeake Search Partners is partnering with a construction-focused organization to identify a Project Accountant. This role works closely with project and accounting teams to track project finances, maintain accurate records, and support timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee project financials, including cost tracking and billing activities

Ensure project-related documents and requisitions are complete and accurate

Support budget management and project forecasting efforts

Assist in reviewing payroll and compliance reports for regulatory adherence

Provide project teams with clear financial insights and reporting guidance

Utilize accounting systems and technology to streamline project accounting processes

Take on special projects or additional tasks as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience in project accounting or a similar financial role

Familiarity with construction accounting concepts such as revenue recognition, over/under billings, and cash flow

Experience with construction accounting software preferred

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams

Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously
