Role Overview As a Senior Manager in our Technology practice, you will interact with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models, processes, and operations. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure that newly implemented technology solutions meet those requirements. Your collaboration with technical teams will be crucial in designing and delivering effective system architecture solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis.

Oversee program/project management and ensure engagement economics are met.

Develop resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.

Manage and deliver complex processes and solutions while maintaining a strong focus on quality and risk management.

Face challenges that require innovative problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Skills and Attributes for Success

Lead large‑scale sales pursuits across Consumer Business, Manufacturing, Technology or Industrial Products sectors.

Identify and generate new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively assessing client needs.

Cultivate long‑term relationships with clients across various sectors, including CXOs.

Develop market insights and align them with SAP solutions, road‑map and strategies.

Utilize an integrated sales framework to proactively drive large‑scale SAP pursuits.

Effectively lead and motivate diverse sales pursuit teams, providing constructive feedback and coaching.

Lead large‑scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Demonstrate in‑depth SAP solution capabilities and strong business acumen.

Consistently deliver high‑quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping key stakeholders informed.

Strong technical skills in application functional design and technology business requirements definition.

Proven ability to analyze and map technology cost‑benefit scenarios.

Expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred.

At least 15 years of related work experience.

At least 10 years of experience driving large SAP Sales initiatives for clients in Consumer Business, Manufacturing, Technology or Industrial Products.

Proven ability to build and develop SAP market presence and pipeline.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain management programs.

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.

Experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project‑based team members.

Knowledge of best practices in SAP Supply Chain, along with benchmarking and advisory experience.

Proficiency in researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.

Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40‑60 %.

Ideal Experience

Prior experience in the consulting industry.

Experience leading primary sales initiatives for SAP Supply Chain and other SAP solutions.

Track record as a workstream or team lead for Supply Chain projects utilizing SAP.

Experience with at least three full‑lifecycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA), specifically within SAP Supply Chain modules.

Experience integrating SAP with IBP, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and SAP Quality Management (QM).

Knowledge of manufacturing operations, particularly in complex industrial equipment or assembly line environments.

Understanding of product lifecycle management, including Engineering BOMs and Manufacturing BOMs.

Experience with Make to Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure to Order business models.

What We Offer You

A comprehensive compensation and benefits package. Base salary ranges $171,600–$392,100 across all geographic locations in the US; specific ranges for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) are $205,900–$445,700. Salaries are determined by education, experience, skills, and geography. Total Rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time‑off options.

Opportunity to work in a hybrid model; most client‑serving roles work together in person 40–60 % of the time throughout an engagement, project, or year.
