Position Summary Provide treatment services to children ranging in ages from 0-21 years. Evaluation services. Job‑related department responsibilities.
Position Functions and Responsibilities
Provide treatment for 10–12 patients per day
Supervise student interns as directed by Manager
Conduct initial Physical Therapy evaluations and re‑evaluations
Develop patient care plans in conjunction with Physiatrist
Participate in clinical quality assurance initiatives
Provide patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentation
Complete reporting activities required by regulatory and departmental standards (daily notation of therapy, progress reports, rehabilitation rounds/staff conferences, and other assigned activities such as splinting)
Comply with established ESCR, Inc. policies and procedures re: quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control, confidentiality of patient information, customer service, attendance, punctuality, dress code, professional conduct, and annual health assessments
Participate in all departmental in‑services and staff development activities
Qualifications Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy with NYS License as a registered Physical Therapist. Must maintain license in good standing.
Experience
Experience in clinical pediatric environment
Salary Range $85,000 – $95,000 per year.
