Role We're building a talent pool of strong customer service professionals for FreedomCare Oregon. We're searching for talented and motivated individuals interested in any of the following roles:

HomeCare Sales Specialist I: connect and engage with people and start a relationship with those who are interested in having home care support for themselves or a loved one.

Intake Specialist I: work closely with Patients and Caregivers to educate them and assist them on the application and enrollment process of our supported programs, with the goal of completing the eligibility process and onboarding them.

Onboarding Specialist I: guide our patients and caregivers throughout the onboarding process of joining FreedomCare. This role will require you to conduct virtual or in person orientations.

Care Support Specialist I: guide patients and caregivers through their home care journey while ensuring that our patients receive the care they need and feel heard and cared for.

Ideal Candidate Will Possess

Customer service skills: excellent customer service, ability to handle difficult situations, empathize with customers, solve problems, manage a high‑volume inbound and outbound queue, and show empathy, active listening, and patience.

Communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to provide empathy and compassion to our patients and caregivers.

Soft skills: good listening skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to work well in a team.

Problem‑solving: ability to solve problems and stay calm under pressure, defuse and de‑escalate frustrated callers.

Time management: strong time‑management skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet and exceed expectations.

Technology: computer proficiency, strong typing skills, and ability to leverage technology and resolve customer issues efficiently while note‑taking/multitasking.

Multitasking: ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities while assisting patients and caregivers through the process.

These are hybrid positions that will require all employees to commute into our FreedomCare Oregon office 2‑3 days per week. Our Oregon office is located in Tualatin, Oregon.

Compensation Range: $18–$22 USD per hour.

Base pay for this role is between $18.00 and $22.00 an hour at the commencement of your first year of employment.
