Overview FreedomCare is building a talent pool of strong customer service professionals in Missouri, seeking candidates for a variety of call‑center roles within our home‑care organization.

Roles

HomeCare Sales Specialist I : connect and engage with people, building relationships with those interested in home‑care support.

Intake Specialist I : work closely with patients and caregivers to educate them and assist with application and enrollment, completing eligibility and onboarding.

Onboarding Specialist I : guide patients and caregivers through the onboarding process, conducting virtual or in‑person orientations.

Care Support Specialist I : support patients and caregivers throughout the home‑care journey, ensuring needs are met and patients feel heard and cared for.

Ideal Candidate

Customer service skills – handle high‑volume inbound and outbound queues, manage difficult situations with empathy and problem‑solving.

Communication skills – excellent verbal and written communication, active listening, compassion.

Soft skills – strong listening, emotional intelligence, teamwork.

Problem‑solving – remain calm under pressure, defuse and de‑escalate upset callers.

Time management – prioritize tasks and exceed expectations.

Technology – computer proficiency, strong typing, efficient use of customer‑service tools, multitasking and note‑taking.

Multitasking – manage multiple responsibilities and priorities while assisting patients and caregivers.

Hybrid Working All positions require employees to commute into the FreedomCare Missouri office 2–3 days per week. Offices are located in Springfield, St. Louis, and Kansas City.

Compensation Base pay for this role is $18.00–$22.00 per hour during the first year of employment.
