The Opportunity We innovate with SAP to co‑create innovative solutions across strategy to execution, delivering business value through technology, processes, people and operational impact. As a Senior Manager in our Technology practice, you will partner with business stakeholders to evaluate models and translate requirements into technical specifications, ensuring solutions meet client needs.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships daily.
Oversee program/project management, ensuring engagement economics and risk controls.
Develop resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with technical teams on system architecture.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Lead large‑scale sales pursuits across sectors such as Consumer Business, Manufacturing, Technology, and Industrial Products.
Identify and generate new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and assessing client needs.
Build long‑term client relationships at all levels, including CXOs.
Develop market insights and create a robust pipeline with sector alliance leads and SAP solution capabilities.
Drive sales initiatives using an integrated framework and innovative solutions to meet client transformation needs.
Lead and mentor diverse sales pursuit teams, fostering an inclusive environment.
Demonstrate in‑depth SAP solution capabilities and strong business acumen.
Effectively communicate, influence and negotiate with stakeholders.
Strong technical skills in application functional design and technology business requirements definition.
Analytical expertise in technology cost‑benefit scenarios and system configuration design.
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and technical writing skills.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred.
At least 15 years of related work experience.
At least 10 years driving large SAP Sales initiatives for clients in relevant sectors.
10+ years of experience in SAP Supply Chain management programs.
Proven ability to build and develop SAP market presence and pipeline.
Strong written, verbal and communication skills.
Experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project‑based teams.
Knowledge of best practices in SAP Supply Chain, with benchmarking and advisory experience.
Proficiency in researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and new technologies.
Flexibility and willingness to travel 40‑60% of the time.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
Prior consulting industry experience.
Experience leading primary sales initiatives for SAP Supply Chain and other SAP solutions.
Track record as a workstream or team lead for Supply Chain projects using SAP.
Experience with at least three full lifecycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA) in Supply Chain modules.
Experience integrating SAP with IBP, MES and SAP QM.
Knowledge of manufacturing operations, especially in complex industrial equipment or assembly line environments.
Understanding of product lifecycle management, ELBOMs and MBOMs.
Experience with Make to Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure to Order business models.
