What You’ll Be Doing:
Represent employers in all aspects of employment litigation: discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage & hour, and related claims.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses and briefs; take and defend depositions; prepare for hearings and trials.
Advise clients on employment practices, policies, compliance issues, and risk mitigation.
Collaborate with senior partners and litigation team to develop strategy, manage cases, and ensure top-tier client service.
What We’re Looking For:
Admitted to the California bar; active license.
2-6 years’ experience in employment defense litigation (employer-side) or equivalent civil litigation experience.
Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills; comfortable in depositions and motion practice.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to high standards of professionalism and client service.
Bonus:
Performance + Discretionary ($10k - $50k Typically)
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $170,000 – $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
