Elite DNA Behavioral Health is a physician‑run telepsychiatry leader providing quality therapy and psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults. We are seeking a Board Certified Psychiatrist for our full‑time position in Pensacola, Florida.
Responsibilities
Assess and treat mental illnesses through psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication.
Conduct regular discussions with patients, helping them find solutions through behavioral changes, past experience exploration, or group and family therapy.
Collaborate with and supervise mid‑level providers.
Provide emergency treatment orders as needed.
Administer medications to correct chemical imbalances causing emotional problems.
Use Athena, the computerized medical record system, for progress notes, orders, and medical record review, completing records in a timely manner.
Deliver person‑ and family‑centered care.
Demonstrate understanding of developmental/age‑specific issues in patient treatment.
Interact effectively with patients, supervisors, coworkers and external agency employees.
Perform work in a safe and efficient manner and comply with policies regarding worker’s compensation, risk management, and security.
Qualifications
Licensed in the State of Florida as an M.D.
Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist
Language Skills
Fluency in Spanish preferred, but not required.
