Your Role with the Company Primary duties and responsibilities include:

Direct the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring every plate reflects exceptional taste, technique, and consistency

Build and lead a high-performing back-of-house team through thoughtful hiring, training, scheduling, and ongoing development

Drive menu creation and culinary innovation, crafting seasonal offerings that highlight ingredient integrity and creativity

Keep tight control of food costs by managing portions, minimizing waste, and optimizing product usage

Review financial performance regularly and make strategic adjustments to menu pricing, purchasing, and systems to support profitability

Cultivate a supportive, collaborative kitchen culture focused on growth, accountability, and excellence

Work alongside the culinary team, setting the standard for cooking, plating, and operational execution

Manage procurement and maintain accurate, organized inventory levels to support smooth service

Establish and refine kitchen systems and workflows, ensuring the team consistently follows best practices to maintain efficiency and quality

Background Profile

2+ years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine with a $4M+ upscale full-service restaurant

Growth-minded, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement

Strong sense of ownership with an entrepreneurial, excellence-driven approach

Collaborative, humble leader who supports a positive, creative kitchen culture

Proven management ability and confidence working both independently and with a team

Passionate, energetic, detail-oriented, and genuinely dedicated to hospitality

Experience with French or continental cuisine strongly preferred
