Your Role with the Company: Primary duties and responsibilities include:
Oversee every aspect of the kitchen's operations, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards
Hire, onboard, and manage employees, including scheduling, training, and development
Create, develop, and execute innovative menus, ensuring culinary excellence and consistency
Monitor food costs by managing portion control, waste reduction, and efficient use of ingredients
Analyze restaurant's financial performance, adjusting food costs, pricing, and operations as necessary
Foster a positive and professional environment conducive to skill development and high performance
Lead by example, actively participating in cooking, presentation, and kitchen management
Oversee the ordering of supplies and maintain proper inventory control levels
Develop and maintain efficient systems for kitchen operations, ensuring the team adheres to these systems to maintain consistency and efficiency in the kitchen
Background Profile
3+ years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine for an $8M+ upscale Middle Eastern restaurant
Strong leader with proven team management and operational skills to run an efficient, professional kitchen
Passionate about Middle Eastern cuisine and eager to continue learning and refining craft
Growth-minded, adaptable, and driven to develop both personally and within the business
Entrepreneurial thinker with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to excellence
Collaborative and humble, fostering a positive, respectful culture that supports creativity and consistency
