Senior Manager Role As a Senior Manager in our Technology practice, you will play a pivotal role in interacting with business stakeholders to evaluate and analyze business models, processes, and operations. You will translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure that newly implemented technology solutions meet these requirements. Your collaboration with technical teams will be crucial in designing and delivering effective system architecture solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead engagement delivery and manage client relationships on a daily basis.

Oversee program/project management and ensure engagement economics are met.

Develop resource plans and budgets for complex engagements.

Skills And Attributes for Success

Lead large‑scale sales pursuits across Consumer Business, Manufacturing, Technology or Industrial Products sectors.

Identify and generate new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service lines and proactively assessing client needs.

Collaborate with team members across EY practices to effectively serve clients.

Cultivate long‑term relationships with clients across various sectors, including CFO & CXO‑level personnel.

Develop market insights by understanding client contexts and aligning them with SAP solutions, road‑maps and strategies.

Create a robust pipeline by collaborating closely with sector alliance leads and SAP solution capabilities for prioritized sectors.

Utilize an integrated sales framework to proactively drive large‑scale SAP pursuits.

Incorporate innovative solutions to meet client transformation needs and leverage differentiated client experiences.

Effectively lead and motivate diverse sales pursuit teams, providing constructive feedback and coaching.

Lead large‑scale SAP client engagements or work streams, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Demonstrate in‑depth SAP solution capabilities and strong business acumen.

Stay informed about current business and industry trends relevant to clients.

Consistently deliver high‑quality client services by monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping stakeholders informed.

Strong technical skills in application functional design and technology business requirements definition.

Proven ability to analyze and map technology cost‑benefit scenarios.

Expertise in system configuration design and business architecture frameworks.

Excellent communication skills, influencing and negotiating effectively.

To qualify for the role, you must have

A Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred.

At least 15 years of related work experience.

At least 10 years of experience driving large SAP Sales initiatives within Consumer Business, Manufacturing, Technology or Industrial Products.

A proven ability to build and develop SAP market presence and pipeline by aligning client needs with SAP solutions, road‑maps and strategies.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain management programs.

Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills.

Demonstrated experience managing SAP projects or work streams, including oversight of project‑based team members.

Knowledge of best practices in SAP Supply Chain, benchmarking and advisory experience related to manufacturing‑specific technology functions.

Proficiency in researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.

Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40‑60 %.

Ideally, you’ll also have

Prior experience in the consulting industry.

Experience leading primary sales initiatives for SAP Supply Chain and other SAP solutions.

Proven track record as a workstream or team lead for Supply Chain projects utilizing SAP.

Experience with at least three full lifecycle implementations of SAP ERP (ECC and/or S/4HANA), specifically within SAP Supply Chain modules (Production Planning, Materials Management, Logistics Execution).

Experience integrating SAP with IBP, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and SAP Quality Management (QM).

Knowledge of manufacturing operations, particularly in complex industrial equipment or assembly line environments.

Understanding of product lifecycle management, including Engineering Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOMs).

Experience with both Make‑to‑Stock and Make/Engineer/Configure‑to‑Order business models.

What We Offer You

A comprehensive compensation and benefits package, with a base salary range (US: $171 600‑$392 100; NYC, Washington, CA: $205 900‑$445 700). Individual salaries vary based on education, experience, geography, etc. Total Rewards include medical/dental, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time‑off options.

Hybrid work model: most external, client‑serving roles work together in person 40‑60 % of the time.
