LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a well‑regarded law firm based in New York, recruiting a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney for their growing office on Long Island. This position is unposted and with a great client of mine!
Responsibilities
include:
Working on arbitrations and collective bargaining negotiations.
Researching and advising on labor and employment‑related statutes and related litigation.
Defending employers and individuals in federal and state employment matters involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
Defending municipalities and public officials in federal litigation involving employment practices and policymaking.
Qualifications :
5+ years of experience defending employers and individuals in federal and state employment matters.
Experience in the public sector, including defending municipalities and public officials.
School Law or Municipal Law experience is a plus.
Compensation : $140,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience.
