What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Lead and execute sales strategies within the Defense vertical to drive growth
Collaborate with regional and national teams, including AAM Regional Sales Directors
Manage performance and development of the sales team, including hiring and training
Maintain C-level relationships at key accounts and serve as the escalation point for sales issues
Conduct annual reviews of account segmentation and deploy sales resources effectively
What is Required (Qualifications):
BS in Industrial Technology/Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in vertical sales, preferably in the Power Transmission industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to travel up to 40%
Strong analytical skills and deep knowledge of industry and channel dynamics

Experience in coaching and developing high-performing sales teams
Strategic thinker with a proven ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with KPI usage for coaching sales associates
