What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Lead and manage a team of sales associates in the Defense vertical, ensuring effective collaboration with regional and national teams
Develop and implement short and long-term sales strategies to drive market share growth
Serve as the escalation point for sales-related issues and provide coaching and training to enhance team performance
Maintain C-level relationships with key accounts and perform annual performance evaluations for team members
Facilitate regional meetings and participate in trade organization leadership activities
What is Required (Qualifications)
BS in Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in vertical sales, preferably within the Power Transmission industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong analytical skills to identify trends
Ability to travel up to 40% as required
Demonstrated capability in building and leading high-performing sales teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in factory automation or related end markets such as aerospace, medical, or alternative energy
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with CRM tools and utilizing KPIs for coaching
