Cash Posting and Credits Supervisor (Hybrid) Base pay range: $32.00/hr – $35.00/hr.

This 6‑month contract with a Healthcare Client may lead to full‑time employment. Training is on‑site and will be followed by a hybrid schedule with a minimum of two days per week on‑site.

Responsibilities

Supervise the daily operations of cash posting and credit balance teams, ensuring accurate and timely posting and reconciliation of all incoming payments while maintaining credit balances in compliance with payer and regulatory guidelines, and company policies.

Supervise the processing of payment batches, including denials, contractual adjustments, and guarantor payments, to ensure all payment batches are balanced and closed timely.

Oversee the analysis of Explanation of Benefits (EOB) information, including the review of co‑pays, deductibles, co‑insurance, contractual adjustments, denials, and other details, to ensure the accuracy of patient balances.

Lead the team in resolving any cash balance or posting errors and ensure proper documentation of these resolutions or related issues to safeguard the organization in the event of an audit.

Analyze and evaluate key performance indicators related to cash posting timeliness, accuracy, and backlogs, and train the cash posting team accordingly.

Prepare and evaluate reports on cash performance, offering data‑driven insights into trends, gaps, and potential areas for improvement and addressing escalated posting issues.

Review all refund and retraction requests and approve those within the position’s scope of authority.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

3 years of experience in cash posting, cash reconciliation, and credit balance resolution.

Healthcare experience required.

Epic payment posting certification preferred.
