Re:Car, a subsidiary of Re:Build Manufacturing, is a new company exploring development in the electric vehicle space.
Who we are looking for A High Voltage Battery Subject Matter Expert within the Propulsion Systems Engineering organization. Responsible for investigating emerging technologies, developing and maintaining cell/module roadmaps, and delivering product recommendations to Re:Car Leadership.
What you get to do Support and implement activities using your battery knowledge, technical expertise, and leadership skills. Serve as the go-to knowledge source on this subject within the team. Responsibilities include market sensing for technology trends, conducting technical exploration projects, communicating findings to leadership, and analyzing the impact of technology at various levels.
What you bring to the Team
BS in Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering required; MS / MBA preferred
Deep understanding of battery design architectures and topologies
Minimum 5 years in battery hardware design and development
Minimum 10 years in battery systems engineering, manufacturing, or related areas; 15 years preferred
Knowledge of industry standards, processes, and techniques
Understanding of market fundamentals and other energy storage forms is a plus
Willingness to work at strategic and application levels
Strong entrepreneurial spirit and ability to make convincing recommendations
Product and technology strategy experience is a plus
Excellent communication skills for presenting to leadership and industry forums
Industry recognition is a plus
