Job Description:
Oversee quality, finance, staffing, and patient/caregiver experience.
Partner with Labor & Delivery and Women & Children’s leadership teams.
Manage a team of 140 direct reports including Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, RNs, Surgical Techs, and Health Unit Coordinators.
Coordinate with Perinatal CNS, Educator, Medical Director for Quality & Safety, and Caregiver Resource team.
Lead in a union environment with 24/7 Charge RNs.
Experience you will need:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school.
Master’s degree in nursing or related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years as a Nurse Manager or equivalent in L&D, with acute care nursing background.
Washington RN License (upon hire).
National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association certification.
Experience in a unionized healthcare environment is a bonus.
