Position Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

Partner with the CEO and executive leadership team to define and execute the financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals.

Lead the development and continuous improvement of financial models, dashboards, and reporting for Board and investor visibility.

Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board on capital allocation, growth investments, and strategic initiatives.

Deliver actionable insights that drive sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and margin improvement.

Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis

Overssee all budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

Streamline internal reporting to create clear, concise, and easily digestible financial insights for leadership and the Board.

Provide timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP.

Partner with the SVP of Finance to optimize financial systems, reporting cadence, and analytical capabilities.

Develop and monitor key financial and operational metrics to measure business performance and risk.

Accounting, Audit & Compliance

Lead the accounting function with oversight of the accounting team to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Oversee the completion of annual audits and ensure all regulatory filings, compliance obligations, and internal controls are met.

Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks to support growth and transparency.

Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare financial regulations and investor reporting requirements.

Cross-Functional & Operational Partnership

Partner closely with operational leaders, including the VP of Home Health Operations, VP of Hospice, and VP of Compliance, to align financial performance with operational objectives.

Translate complex financial concepts into clear recommendations for non-financial leaders.

Foster collaboration across departments to support informed decision-making and resource optimization.

Team Leadership & Development

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, including the SVP of Finance, Controller, and accounting staff.

Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Establish strong succession planning and professional growth opportunities within the finance function.

Experience & Skills

Required Experience and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.

Master’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline preferred.

15+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including experience as a CFO or senior finance executive in healthcare services.

Experience in investor-backed or private equity-owned environments strongly preferred.

Deep understanding of healthcare financial operations, including hospice and home health reimbursement, audit processes, and regulatory compliance.

Proven success in financial planning, P&L oversight, and capital management.

Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence across functions.

High degree of integrity, accountability, and strategic agility.

Ability to operate 1–2 days per week onsite in Dallas, with additional travel as needed.

Compensation $250k-$300k
