General Manager

reports to the Owner and is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations. Responsibilities

Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA, and other applicable laws. Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures. Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness, while fostering the Firehouse Subs culture of a cheerful and fun work environment, aligning with the company's mission and values. Ensure the profitability of the business by operating within established guidelines and requirements. Coordinate and implement current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner. Be accountable for proper staffing with qualified personnel who are trained and developed appropriately. Oversee the continuous training and development of the restaurant's Assistant Manager and Shift Managers. Actively participate in local restaurant marketing efforts within the trade area. Implement and promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives. Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule. Maintain awareness and participation in community affairs to leverage sales and public relations opportunities. Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times. Communicate effectively with the GM/Owner regarding any issues impacting the business. Maintain restaurant equipment in full working order and report problems immediately to the Owner. Minimum Requirements

1-3 years of restaurant management experience Ability to work on their feet for up to 13 hours at a time Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Other duties as assigned by the Owner Compensation: $37,500.00 - $43,000.00 per year Firehouse Subs is a restaurant chain founded in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1994 by brothers and former firefighters Chris Sorensen and Robin Sorensen.
