Job Description
This
General Manager
reports to the Owner and is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations. Responsibilities:
Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health, hour and wage, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA, and any other applicable regulations for legal operation. Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures. Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness, while embracing the Firehouse Subs culture of a cheerful and fun work environment, and uphold the company's mission and vision. Ensure the profitability of the business by operating within established guidelines and requirements. Coordinate and implement current operations game plans and company initiatives in a profitable and timely manner. Ensure proper staffing of the restaurant with qualified personnel who are trained and developed appropriately. Oversee continuous training and development of the restaurant's Assistant Manager and Shift Managers. Participate actively in local restaurant marketing within the trade area. Implement and promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives. Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule. Maintain awareness and participation in community affairs to leverage sales and public relations opportunities. Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times. Communicate effectively with GM/Owner regarding any issues impacting the business. Maintain restaurant equipment in full working order and report problems immediately to the Owner. Requirements:
1-3 Years of Restaurant Management Experience Able to work on their feet for up to 13 hours at a time Able to lift up to 50 lbs Any other duties assigned by the Owner Compensation: $37,500.00 - $43,000.00 per year About Firehouse Subs
