Accounting Manager Job at Connect Search, LLC in Arlington Heights

Base pay range $97,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Scope of work includes: Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, and fixed assets. Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash management processes. Conduct variance analysis, provide financial insights, and recommend strategies to support business decisions. Establish and maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Supervise and mentor three accounting staff. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred. 5-7 years experience in a non-public accounting firm. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills. Analytical skills: strong problem‑solving and financial analysis abilities.
