Supervisor Telecom Aerial – Pauley Construction, LLC
The Supervisor Telecom Aerial role in the structure of Pauley Construction is responsible for managing two to four crews consisting of crew leaders or foremen.
The position oversees daily production, ensures compliance with safety and quality standards, coordinates pre‑construction and as‑built meetings, maintains production records, and communicates with external customers including city inspectors and personnel.

Responsibilities
Oversee and lead crews in meeting and maintaining daily production goals and maintaining production records.
Coordinate with direct manager to invoice jobs promptly according to company policy and area goals.
Ensure all company safety policies, OSHA, DOT, and special project requirements are met for each crew assignment.
Conduct accident investigations, including job damage, employee injury, and vehicle incidents.
Attend all safety meetings with assigned crews.
Attend all in‑house and outsourced training as adopted in company policy.
Assume responsibility with the superintendent for all property owner complaints and personally investigate all complaints.
Guarantee 100% adherence to all company safety policies.
Communicate equipment needs to direct manager (repair, maintenance, rental).
Maintain all trucks and equipment in a clean condition.
Manage staffing, training, and performance; recruit, onboard, coach, discipline, and terminate employees as needed.
Consult with direct manager before ordering or procuring new material.
Interface frequently with customers to discuss needs and jobs.
Complete a total of 8 JSO’s, including auditing of direct reporting crews.
Complete daily DVIR when required.
Ensure assigned fleet is gate‑checked within a 45‑day timeframe.
Requirements
At least 18 years of age.
Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
Valid state driver’s license (non‑provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
Pass a background check and company drug screening.
Attend and pass all required company training.
May be required to work after hours, on weekends, or be on call as needed.
May be required to work nights and holidays as required.
May need to travel within state or overnight as business requirements dictate.
Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
Additional Qualifications
Experience in telecommunications or utility construction.
Proven leadership experience guiding employees to high‑quality results and teamwork.
Any combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform the designated duties and responsibilities.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to understand and carry out written, oral, or drawing instructions; solve problems involving employees, customers, vendors, and the public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts (measurements, percentages, area); apply basic math and accounting principles.
Language Skills
Ability to read, understand, and interpret documents such as safety rules, machine manuals, and procedure manuals; write reports; speak effectively to customers, coworkers, and vendors.
Physical & Safety Requirements
Must stand, crouch, sit, bend, use hands/fingers, and reach with arms; lift or move up to 10 lbs and frequently up to 50 lbs.
Noise level is moderate; work is performed both on job sites and in the office.
Exposure to adverse weather conditions, dust, fumes, airborne pathogens, toxic or corrosive chemicals, and moving machinery parts.
Requires specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Salary The annual wage range for this role is $70,000 – $83,000 depending on experience.
