Navan Inc. is pleased to offer an exceptional opportunity to join our Global Sales Compensation team. This position will report to the Director of GTM Compensation, located in Palo Alto.
Location: Palo Alto, CA or San Francisco, CA
The Sales Compensation team serves as the primary liaison among Revenue Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, and Field Sales teams. The team's primary responsibilities encompass managing commission plans and the resulting earnings submitted to Payroll, administering the deployment of compensation plans to the Sales Field, and maintaining and updating the Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tool to ensure an appropriate compensation framework.
What You’ll Do:
Administer compensation plans and commission calculations within the ICM tool, ensuring timely and accurate plan deployment and monthly payouts
Produce accrual narrative and support the month-end close process
Develop proficiency with the ICM tool, including running pipelines, configuring updates, and generating reports
Assume ownership of and drive the resolution of commission inquiries/cases, providing support to Business Partners for issue resolution
Ensure all compensation processes, controls, and documentation follow internally defined SOX and governance standards
Calculate, track, and refine advanced metrics to evaluate the impact of compensation programs and their alignment with business objectives, including development of dashboards for regular reporting
Generate ad-hoc reports periodically and participate in ad-hoc projects as required
Serve as a trusted advisor to team members and external partners, operating to ensure team success.
What We’re Looking For:
2-4 years of experience in sales compensation / commissions
Demonstrated strong problem-solving, organizational, and end-to-end process management skills
Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Willingness to learn and adapt rapidly to a high growth environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets
Familiarity with ICM tools. Prior experience with CaptivateIQ is a plus.
Pay Range $92,000 — $145,000 USD
