CPG may have an opportunity for you! CPG is currently seeking an Electrical Superintendent in DFW.

Electrical Superintendent Knowledge and Experience Duties

Advocate safety as number one priority on the jobsite and enforce compliance with company/jobsite safety plan, policies, and all safety-related regulations.

Assist in change orders/change events.

Manage material and submit purchase orders.

Supervise the operations on the construction sites.

Monitor the short-term schedule.

Reviews, and supports the hiring needs.

Quality control & coordination responsibilities with other trades.

Ability to assist Project Manager prepare construction schedules.

Make daily schedules for proper manpower utilization.

Maintain daily reports, time sheets, safety and accident reports.

Coordinate production and attend meetings with other trades and the general contractor to identify and resolve any conflicts.

Plan, organize and direct production in accordance with the contracted scope of work.

Oversee quality assurance and quality control programs.

Ensure all installations meet quality and electrical code standards.

Recognize and communicate to Project Manager any priority project problems, such as employee, job costing issues or any need for concern.

Responsible for ensuring that all installations are correct per NEC, city codes and engineering drawings and specifications.

Other duties as required.

Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses at all times), respirator when required.

Overall responsibility for successful completion of electrical scope, including punch list, to Owner satisfaction.

Maintain strong relationships with team, subcontractors, and ownership.

Electrical Superintendent Knowledge and Experience Requirements

3+ years in supervisory position with Journeyman License.

Active Texas Journeyman Electrician license.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment Physical duties are a part of this role (more than 70%).

Duties may include crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching.

Must be able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds; pushing and pulling of objects also required.

Must be able to travel to different project locations within the metroplex as needed.

Job requires working in all elements, specifically related to hot, cold, or wet weather.

Able to work 8-10 hours per day/40 hours per week, as well as overtime and potential night shifts as required.

Repetitive use of arms, hands, and fingers.
