Director of Value Add Engineering

to oversee equipment reliability, new installations, and process improvements across multiple facilities.

This role is hands‑on and highly visible—you’ll partner with operations, maintenance, and leadership to shape productivity, quality, and safety standards while leading engineering projects that directly impact performance.

What You’ll Do:

Ensure equipment reliability through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead capital projects, equipment installations, and efficiency‑driven upgrades.

Conduct cost modeling to support customer plans and project execution.

Champion safety compliance, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and vendors to drive results.

Provide technical training and leadership to plant teams.

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing).

Deep expertise in metal roll forming manufacturing

(non‑negotiable).

3+ years in plant, manufacturing, or industrial engineering (metals/steel strongly preferred).

Expertise in mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and roll forming.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or TPM principles.

Strong project management skills, CAD proficiency, and knowledge of CMMS systems.

Willingness to travel up to 50% for installations and projects.

Preferred Skills:

Background in steel processing, heavy manufacturing, or metals.

Knowledge of PLCs, automation, and control systems.

Professional Engineer (PE) license or advanced reliability/maintenance certification.

Spanish language skills a plus.
