Key Responsibilities
Assist electricians by providing tools, equipment, and materials needed for electrical tasks.
Prepare, clean, and maintain electrical work areas, tools, and equipment.
Hold cables, conduit, fixtures, and tools for electricians during maintenance, installations and repairs.
Pull wire, run conduit, and perform other supervised tasks in support of electrical projects.
Perform general labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and positioning materials.
Support troubleshooting activities by assisting electricians with testing and repair tasks.
Qualifications
High school Diploma or GED required.
0–3 years of experience in electrical work.
Basic understanding of electrical systems and components; familiarity with electrical tools and equipment (drills, conduit benders, multimeters, etc.).
Strong safety awareness and ability to follow instructions.
Physical stamina to lift, carry, and move electrical materials.
Teamwork, reliability, and willingness to learn the electrical trade.
Ability to work in varying environments (indoor, outdoor, confined spaces).
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and perform repetitive motion for several hours at a time.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking; standing or sitting for extended periods; and climbing in and out of a vehicle, plus up and down stairs.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods.
Additional Requirements
A valid state driver’s license is required; must maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
