$50.27/hour (fixed rate)

Typical Duties

Installs, programs, and configures direct digital control systems and related equipment.

Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to DDC systems, including sensors, actuators, and controllers.

Reviews and analyzes control schematics, diagrams, and system documentation to aid in diagnostics and repairs.

Collaborates with team members to design and implement system upgrades and improvements.

Educates and trains staff on the operation and maintenance of DDC systems.

Maintains accurate records of service performed, system changes, and inventory of parts.

Ensures compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during all operational procedures.

Monitors system performance and recommends energy‑saving upgrades or modifications.

Conducts routine maintenance and inspections on DDC systems to ensure accurate functionality and reliability.

This position may be subject to call‑back availability based on operational needs.

Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required; Associate degree preferred.

0–3 years’ experience in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field.

Equivalent combination of experience and education allowed.

Experience with direct digital controls, building automation systems, or related technology.

Proficient understanding of control theory, HVAC systems, and energy management practices.

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time.

Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements

A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
