Qualifications of an Intake RN
Must have current New York State RN license
Must have at least two years of experience in a CHHA intake department
Must have a minimum of one year supervisory experience
HCHB experience required
Must have experience with Allscripts
Must have excellent clinical, writing and communication skills
Responsibilities of an Intake RN
The Intake Manager is responsible to supervise, instruct and guide intake coordinators and auxiliary personnel in referral intake and follow-through.
Designs and implements efficient work processes to ensure sound communication between departments, referral sources and physicians.
