What You’ll Do

Lead global market‑share and revenue growth for HDR’s Waste Sector.

Serve as trusted advisor to key clients, aligning HDR’s capabilities to their needs.

Drive major pursuits and campaigns, developing winning strategies and guiding proposals.

Collaborate with market and operations leadership to define and support regional strategic plans.

Mentor and train business‑development teams, fostering a client‑focused culture.

Ensure delivery of the right talent and expertise for client engagements and growth opportunities.

What You Bring

Global booking achievement and management of regional Waste business‑development leaders.

Deep understanding of waste market trends, drivers, and client impacts.

Vision for the Waste program aligned with company direction and goals.

Development of long‑term strategic plans, growth initiatives, and investment prioritization.

Leadership of cross‑market initiatives and capture planning.

Talent acquisition for management, technical, B‑D, and marketing roles.

Training on B‑D and marketing best practices.

Execution of major client plans with long‑term capture strategies.

Building and maintaining strong client relationships and partnerships.

Active participation in professional associations to elevate HDR’s brand.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Professional or engineering registration/certificate or related technical experience.

Proven success in winning high‑value contracts in the waste industry.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 15 years’ relevant industry experience.

Self‑starter with a history of completing projects with limited oversight.

Deep knowledge of the A/E/C procurement approach for professional services.

Strong motivation and inspiration skills.

Network building with clients and industry partners.

Sales and effective win‑strategy development experience.

Financial acumen and negotiation skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Willingness to travel and engage in‑person.

Experience growing programs in competitive markets.

Experience writing compelling content from technical staff input.

Compensation ranges from $167,580 to $277,200, depending on skills, experience, and location.
