Salary Range: $55,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Perform calibration, maintenance, and repair of metrology equipment. Conduct precise dimensional measurements of manufactured parts and assemblies. Develop and execute measurement plans, ensuring adherence to engineering specifications. Analyze measurement data, identify trends, and provide feedback for process improvement. Maintain accurate calibration records and measurement documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to measurement accuracy and equipment functionality. Assist in the selection, implementation, and validation of new metrology equipment. Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, optical comparators). Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience operating and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs). Understanding of calibration principles, measurement uncertainty, and traceability. Technical degree or certification in Metrology, Quality, or a related engineering field. Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and manufacturing documentation. Bonus Qualifications
Experience with CMM programming (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, PolyWorks). Demonstrated understanding and application of Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles. Advanced proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) interpretation and application. Experience conducting Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies.
