Oversee and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing carrying costs.

Lead and mentor the materials planning and logistics teams.
Collaborate with production and sales to align material availability with demand forecasts.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the materials management function.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to material handling and storage.
Recommended Qualifications
Extensive experience in supply chain management, logistics, and procurement within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) for inventory, production planning, and material control.
Strong analytical and forecasting skills to optimize inventory levels and material flow.
Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers, manage vendor relationships, and develop strategic sourcing plans.
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience in a materials or supply chain function.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Proficiency with advanced data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
APICS CSCP or CPIM certification.
Experience with specific ERP modules for advanced planning or warehouse management system (WMS) implementations.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
