Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation for manufacturing initiatives.
Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources within manufacturing operations.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, production, supply chain, quality) to ensure seamless project execution.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with manufacturing projects, such as production delays or material shortages.
Monitor project progress, manage changes to scope or schedule, and report status to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with production goals.
Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols inherent in manufacturing.
Drive continuous improvement efforts by implementing new processes or technologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and output.
Recommended Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing projects within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and quality control principles.
Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and cross-functional teams.
PMP, CAPM, or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
Proficiency with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP/MES systems
Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Experience with specific manufacturing quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949)
