IT Systems Engineering Manager

What You Will Do
Build the Systems Engineering function and eventually lead a growing team.
Set the strategic roadmap across infrastructure, security, and AI.
Provide technical guidance and oversight as the team scales.
Own company‑wide security and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
Manage identity, access, endpoint protection, and security monitoring.
Maintain compliance through policies, audits, and documentation.
Oversee endpoint configuration and monitoring (Kandji, Intune, Jamf).
Manage integrations across Okta, Rippling, and core SaaS systems.
Build automation for asset tracking, reporting, and compliance.
Lead adoption of AI and automation to boost efficiency and security.
Evaluate and implement emerging technologies and predictive tools.
Oversee network infrastructure and office build‑outs.
Manage vendor relationships and IT deployments.
Define performance metrics, uptime standards, and SLAs.
What You Will Bring
7+ years of experience in IT systems or infrastructure engineering, including 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
Proven track record in security and compliance program ownership, including audits and framework implementation (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar).
Hands‑on experience with:
Okta, Google Workspace, Rippling, and SaaS integrations
MDM/EMM platforms (Kandji, Intune, or Jamf)
Security and compliance tools (Vanta, Drata, CrowdStrike, etc.)
Automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, or equivalent)
Deep understanding of zero‑trust architecture, identity governance, and endpoint management.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to scale a team and drive cross‑functional initiatives.
The salary for this position ranges from $160,000–$190,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
