A for-profit Healthcare organization is seeking an experienced, certified Physician Assistant (PA), with experience in Telehealth (preferred but not mandatory) for direct hire. The company provides a PA to work with Assisted Living Facilities to provide a high level of quality care. The PA will be assisted by an Assisted Living staff member on-site with the patient. The NP is responsible for assessments and recommending treatments, medications, and or the need for OT and PT, etc.
This is a full-time position (9:00 – 5:00 pm) or (8:00– 4:00 pm) on-site in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. There may be some flexibility in the schedule.
The ideal candidate will be a board-certified Physician Assistant with experience assessing and evaluating patients. This position requires a strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid processes, as well as the associated forms. The PA will be responsible for all medical documentation,
Requirements
Current New York State Board Certified OA
NY State Medicare and Medicaid credentials - a must
Experience working with geriatric patients preferred.
Strong Computer skills and experience with EMR software
Experience assessing, diagnosing, and prescribing treatments and medications
Creating or modifying care plans and familiar with best practices
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
