Position Summary The Member Services Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for FarmFirst Dairy Cooperative members, providing exceptional service and support to ensure member satisfaction and engagement. This role involves assisting members with cooperative programs, resolving inquiries, and promoting resources that strengthen member relationships and cooperative growth.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring timely and accurate information.
Guide members through cooperative programs and advocacy initiatives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with members to enhance loyalty and engagement. Includes community agricultural outreach programs such as Dairy Breakfasts, County and State Fairs, FFA and 4H programs as needed.
Assist in organizing member meetings, events, and educational programs.
Maintain accurate member records and update databases as needed.
Address and resolve member concerns promptly and professionally.
Work closely with internal team members to ensure service delivery and program implementation. Assist District Board members and management as / when required. On-farm visits required.
Qualifications
Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, ag business, or related field preferred, but not required.
Experience: Customer service or member relations experience; agricultural background is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Knowledge of dairy industry and cooperative principles preferred.
