Scheduling Specialist
Axia by Qcells is seeking an experienced Scheduling Specialist to manage project scheduling activities across the organization. In this role you will review pipeline reports to identify projects ready for scheduling and work with stakeholders to resolve impediments that may delay progress. Key responsibilities include identifying qualified installers in specific regions, sharing project details, coordinating schedules, confirming dates with homeowners, and ordering construction materials. You will collaborate with senior management and cross‑functional teams to develop project plans that align resources, timelines, and budgets while ensuring a five‑star customer experience.
Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Analyze data and report on key scheduling metrics
Review pipeline reports to identify projects that are ready for a scheduling event
Perform root cause analysis to identify bottlenecks or challenges preventing the scheduling team from achieving scheduling quotas
Make recommendations to solve problems and work cross‑functionally with leadership to remove bottlenecks and improve throughput
Schedule projects with homeowners and installation partners
Send purchase requests to procurement to order bill of materials
Oversee a pipeline of projects at the Site Survey, Install, and Inspection stages to drive projects through scheduling and completion
Break complex projects into manageable actions, establish timeframes, and prioritize tasks effectively
Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans, elevating risk management strategies to safeguard project outcomes
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree with 8+ years (or bachelor’s degree with 5+ years) of experience as a Scheduling Specialist, Project Manager, or in a similar role, ideally in the retrofit residential PV + ESS renewable energy sector
3+ years of experience developing detailed project plans using various methodologies and interpreting complex flowcharts and schedules
3+ years of experience delivering excellent customer experience, guiding peers, and influencing senior‑level management to drive positive business outcomes
Exceptional prioritization and time‑management abilities, focusing on delivering high‑quality impact
Strong client‑facing and teamwork capabilities; adept at negotiating, navigating ambiguity, resolving conflicts, and solving ambiguous challenges
Hands‑on experience with advanced project management tools (e.g., enterprise‑level CRMs) and familiarity with quality assurance and risk management
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands Mobility: Standing 20% of time; Sitting 70% of time; Walking 10% of time.
Strength: Pulling, pushing, carrying, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
Dexterity: Typing, handling, reaching – Frequent.
Agility: Turning, twisting – Frequent; Bending – Occasional.
Additional Information The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of the hired candidate.
