This role involves managing project scheduling activities across the organization. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

Base pay range $75,000 /yr – $90,000 /yr

Description Axia by Qcells is seeking an experienced Scheduling Specialist to review pipeline reports to identify projects ready for scheduling and work with stakeholders to resolve any issues that may delay progress. The candidate will coordinate schedules, confirm dates with homeowners, order construction materials, and collaborate with senior management and cross‑functional teams to develop project plans that align resources, timelines, and budgets while ensuring a five‑star customer experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze data and report on key scheduling metrics.

Review pipeline reports to identify projects that are ready for a scheduling event.

Perform root‑cause analysis to identify bottlenecks or challenges preventing the scheduling team from meeting quotas.

Make recommendations for solving problems and work cross‑functionally with leadership to remove bottlenecks and improve throughput.

Schedule projects with homeowners and Installation Partners.

Send purchase requests to procurement to order bill of materials.

Oversee a pipeline of projects at the Site Survey, Install, and Inspection stages to drive projects through scheduling and completion.

Break complex projects into manageable actions, establish timeframes, and prioritize tasks effectively.

Proactively identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.

Required Qualifications

Associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience (or bachelor’s degree with 5+ years) as a Scheduling Specialist, Project Manager, or similar, including managing complex projects from inception to completion in the retrofit residential PV + ESS renewable energy sector.

3+ years of demonstrated expertise in developing detailed project plans using various methodologies.

3+ years of experience demonstrating excellent customer‑experience enhancement skills, and the ability to guide peers and influence senior‑level management and stakeholders.

Exceptional prioritization and time‑management abilities.

Strong capabilities in client‑facing situations and teamwork; adept at negotiating, navigating ambiguity, resolving conflicts, and solving ambiguous challenges.

Hands‑on experience with advanced project‑management tools (e.g., enterprise‑level CRMs) and familiarity with quality assurance and risk management.

Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands Standing (20% of time), Sitting (70% of time), Walking (10% of time). Can pull, push, carry, and lift up to 10 pounds. Requires frequent typing and handling; frequent reaching; frequent turning and twisting.

The salary range is required by the California Pay Transparency Act and may differ depending on the location of those candidates hired nationwide.
