Requirements
Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Doral/Miami, FL (required)
Experience in strategic sourcing for construction, capital projects, or large‑scale development (5–8+ years)
Strong experience running RFPs, conducting bid leveling, and evaluating proposals across construction trades—including Division 16 procurement categories (electrical systems, equipment, power distribution, lighting, communications, etc.)
Proven ability to source general contractors, specialty contractors, and construction management services.
Demonstrated success negotiating contracts, commercial terms, and managing change orders.
Strong supplier performance management and vendor relationship skills.
Experience working in multi‑country or island development environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Preferred
Experience with Caribbean or remote island construction programs.
Knowledge of maritime logistics and shipping processes for heavy equipment and construction materials.
Background in hospitality, resort, cruise destination, or major commercial development projects.
Certifications such as CPSM, PMP, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for construction services, preparing scopes of work, bid packages, and leading full RFP cycles including bid leveling and vendor selection.
Procure BOH equipment, utilities infrastructure, electrical/mechanical systems, long‑lead items, and all materials required for construction execution.
Negotiate pricing, schedules, commercial terms, and conditions with contractors and suppliers, working with Legal to formalize contracts and manage risks.
Manage vendor and supplier performance throughout project execution, including compliance monitoring, change order management, evaluations, and corrective actions.
Collaborate with construction management, engineering, architecture, logistics, and finance teams to align sourcing strategies with project scopes, schedules, and capital planning.
Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities, including shipment and delivery of materials and equipment to Caribbean destinations.
Conduct due diligence and ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, sustainability, and company policies, while monitoring market dynamics, commodity trends, and labor availability.
