Manager, Concessions (54846)

Position Overview The Concessions Manager is responsible for effectively and profitably managing concessions operations for all baseball and non‑baseball events at Maimonides Park. This position reports to the Director of Food & Beverage.
Responsibilities
Hire, train, and manage a team of seasonal employees
Ensure the proper setup of all concession stands, portables, and bars
Maintain a strong presence in all concession areas throughout the event, troubleshooting any issues
Provide the concessions team with all pertinent information to ensure successful operations
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Director of F&B to create an exciting concession menu and ensure proper execution of all offerings
Work closely with the Director of F&B to manage costs related to labor, food & beverage, operating supplies, smallwares, etc., working within established budgets
Ensure all equipment is in proper operational condition and is cleaned on a regular basis
Constantly communicate with the front office for information and updates regarding attendance
Communicate and manage nonprofit organizations and sub‑contractors
Aid the Director of F&B in nightly and monthly inventory and reporting
Perform other related duties, tasks, and responsibilities as required; support other departments as needed
Minimum Qualifications
Previous leadership experience in the food and beverage industry (high‑volume, concessions experience preferred), including management of a large staff
Strong commitment to delivering an exceptional fan experience
Customer‑service oriented with the ability to interact with all levels of management
Strong working knowledge of all facets of the food and beverage industry, including but not limited to food safety, sanitation, inventory control, labor management, quality control, responsible beverage service
Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate and influence
Familiarity with various POS and BOH systems and the ability to troubleshoot these systems when needed
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Ability to work all Brooklyn Cyclones home games and non‑baseball events
